Kurdistan Steel Industries Company implements two projects out of 48 important economic propulsion of the country.
With the aim of completing the steel value chain in Kurdistan province, this company has implemented two great propulsion National projects in this province.
The projects of Kurdistan Steel Industries include the construction of a sponge iron factory in Bijar city with a production capacity of 1.6 million tons per year by the direct regeneration method, as well as the construction of a steel factory and continuous rolling of hot steel sheets by the CSP method with an annual production capacity of one million tons per year in Qarve city which, in addition to creating sustainable employment in the province, will have a great contribution to its development and prosperity.

And according to the previous words of the supreme leader, in order to create a suitable economic platform to prevent the migration of the residents of the regions, it is the center of attention and efforts of employers and contractors.
The plan to produce 1.6 million tons of sponge iron in Bijar city is scheduled to be put into operation in the year 1406 (Iranian calendar).
This project can create more than 500 jobs directly and more than 4 thousand jobs indirectly in this region of the country, which, along with other projects of Kurdistan Steel, is an important step towards improving the lives of the people of these regions and preventing people from migrating to other provinces.
