10 square kilometers of the mine was transferred in 1401 (Iranian calendar) to a consortium centered on the Mines and Metals Development Investment Company and consisting of the Golgohar Mining and Industrial Companies, Goharzamin, Chadormaloo Mining and Industrial Companies, Ghadir Industries and Mines, and Tajali Mines and Metals Development.
Exploitation of the mine and construction of a 130,000-ton concentrate plant over a 25-year period were on the agenda of this consortium.

Of this amount, over 300 million tons are mineable (definite extractable reserves for mining) with a grade of 0.26%.
The construction of the plant will produce 130,000 tons of concentrate per year with a grade of 26% and an input feed capacity of 16 million tons.
It will be put into operation at the beginning of 1406 (Iranian Calendar), and through this, the factory and mine will directly create more than a thousand jobs.
The project’s location is the village of Nimroz in the province of Sistan o Baluchistan in southeastern Iran.
