Iranian Sepehr Tejali Company is trying to complete the activities of Tejali Company by entering new areas. The project of exploiting the “Glandrod” coal mine is one of the projects of this group, and now its study phase will be extended for another year according to the documents provided and the initial agreement, and the exploitation of the reserve will start from the third year.
According to MeMetals, Dr. Ali Mirdar Mansour Panahi, CEO of Sepehr Tejali Iranian Company, a subsidiary of Tejali Development of Mines and Metals, and this company is the operator and contractor of the Glendroud coal complex (affiliated to Iran Minerals Procurement and Production Company “Impasco”) in In a conversation with “Me Metals”, referring to this company, he stated: Our company is newly established, a month has passed since its one-year anniversary, although the company has its own problems, it started with the coal project, but our activity is only in It is not a coal mine, but we have entered in other elements as well. This issue can be seen in the manifestation and we see that this company is also active in other mines. Almost a major part of the exploration work and exploitation phase comes to us.

He continued: The holding group includes the mining activities inside and outside the country. Another part of these activities includes presence in the industrial sector. Today, most of the minerals that we have in the country are practically running out of reserves, or large companies are operating in that group, which our goal is not to compete with them, because they have been operating in that particular field for years. We are actually looking for products that do not have active mining in Iran or even in the world. Of course, this does not mean that it is not mineral, but the nature of that mineral is different in that province, because in this context, the problem is the discussion of processing that we have used internal knowledge.
He continued: As a result, Sepehr Tejali is not known only with coal. Unfortunately or fortunately, from the point of view of us mining engineers, a person who has not been in an underground coal mine is not a mining engineer. Tajali Group has approached this issue with the aim of serving the country. Today, imported coal is 12 million tomans per ton, but the same material inside the country is 3 to 4 million tomans. However, the company manifested this risk and even though this mine was auctioned 7 times and did not have a successful result, the company entered into this issue and even though we knew that the work would cost a lot from the beginning, we started the work from the ground up. We can almost say that we have completed the study and basic engineering phase in this mine. Mainly, the activity in the underground coal mines of Iran is done in a traditional way, however, we have tried to use young companies and all the information, maps and reports in the collection have been prepared and used. Today, if we find any information from the past, we will add them to the information we have.
Panahi added: The important thing is that we gave this information a digital nature. The important thing is not only to scan, but to put this map in its place in terms of geographical location. In fact, we georeferenced this information. On the other hand, we took over the existing underground spaces that were abandoned in order to do the work properly. In fact, preparation must be done first. These spaces had problems in the field of instability, which today, through the analysis of friends, we are trying to solve the problems and have a safe space.
According to him, another issue is the discussion of the development plan. In this area, we have thought beyond the subject in the contract. We went to the domestic companies that had overseas activities, and along with the commitment to procurement and production, we are also moving forward with this work. Besides, we have also planned in the matter of safety and we have a plan that will be released within the next 40 days. Our effort is to improve and upgrade the infrastructure so that we can communicate with the workers who operate deep in the mines. This is an issue that does not exist in 90% of our underground mines. We do this so that if something happens, we can communicate and we have provided the infrastructure for it. On the other hand, we have gone to the dispatching system to have an intelligent control in the mine. We also monitor the amount of methane in the mine at the same time.
Referring to the Glenrod project, Panahi also stated: Considering the conditions that the mine had, it was accompanied by problems; And we have actually invested in the infrastructure and the friends themselves agree that we are thinking about the second 10 years. In fact, we have not thought for only 11 years. Exploitation of coal mines brings profits that are achieved years later.
He continued: The news that has been heard even orally up to this moment means that the study period will be extended by one year, as a result of our main extraction, it will be moved to the beginning of the third year.
Panahi added: We have invited experts in the field of coal as consultants, but we collected all the maps and information from the past and gave them a digital nature and presented them in the form of a software. We provided this information to these friends for advice, so that mistakes in the work can be identified. In fact, we have created a smart database.
He continued: Expert work was done with the problems that existed in the mine and we announced it in a meeting with procurement and production and we received tacit approval and the preparation period has actually been extended for another year. Of course you have to go
